Peer Review Process

Steps of peer-review process adopted by IJDJL:

  • The author submits his/her manuscript to IJDJL’s website according to the guide for authors.
  • A separate title page -containing title, all author(s) name(s), affiliations, acknowledgments, disclosures, financial funds and the contact information of the corresponding author- must be submitted.
  • If the manuscript does not meet IJDJL’s guidelines, it will be sent back to the author with comments; if it does, the manuscript will be sent to two specialized reviewers after removing the authors’ names and their affiliations within 15 days.
  • The review process is blind, meaning manuscripts are anonymous (without reference to names / affiliations in the text or the title page and no self-identifying citations or references in the text).
  • In case of rejection, the author will be notified by e-mail.
  • If the manuscript is accepted by one reviewer and rejected by the other, the manuscript will be sent to a third reviewer for final decision according to IJDJL’s policy.
  • In case of conditional acceptance for publication (meaning with major or minor comments), the author will be notified to re-submit the manuscript through IJDJL’s website, after revising the manuscript and address the reviewers’ comments.
  • In case of unconditional acceptance for publication, the author will be notified by email.
