Publication Ethics

  • IJDJL is committed to confidentiality and objectivity in the peer-review process. Each submitted manuscript will be sent to accredited reviewers with expertise in the related area of law for evaluation.
  • IJDJL notifies the author of the approval to publish his/her manuscript without modification or major/minor modifications according to the submitted comments during the peer-reviewing processes, or an apology for not publishing while providing reasons for rejection.

  • IJDJL will evaluate manuscripts merely on its intellectual content, taking into consideration the principle of non-discrimination based on race, social gender, religious belief or political philosophy of the author.

  • IJDJL acknowledges potential conflict of interest between editors and authors.

  • Following our rigorous criteria for publication and in order to avoid any conflict of interest, any manuscript (article or contribution) submitted for publication by any member of the editorial board as author shall be blindly reviewed by two reviewers who don't belong to the same institution at which he works.

  • The scientific revision of the manuscript, in this case, will be conducted blindly; since no contact may occur between the reviewers and the author.

  • The author who is a member of the editorial board will not interfere in or influence by any kind the revision or the publication procedure of the article.

  • IJDJL adopts a culture of openness and welcomes constructive criticism.

  • IJDJL aims to contribute to rich and diverse scientific legal research in Egypt and internationally.

  • IJDJL publishes online.
