It was on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, the Protocol to establish the Journal of Doctrine, Judiciary, and Legislation was signed between each of the following founding parties:
The founders of this protocol sensed a significant divergence between the law as a (Theoretical Science) and the ability of application in Egypt. Also, it drew their attention to the need for the legal scientific community in Egypt to upgrade the efficiency of scientific research and publishing. They also agreed on the importance of building solid bridges of cooperation between theories of law and applications in courts, country institutions, and in Egyptian society at large.
The ideas of those parties converged that the foregoing will be achieved by strengthening the links of scientific interdependence and close solidarity between the two perspectives of the law and its application for the purpose of transferring it from the scope of pure theoretical writings to the abundance of its legal approaches and the means and mechanisms in application and enforcement in practice.
The wills of the other founders gathered on the importance of developing standards, controls, and approaches for applied scientific research in the legal field, the importance of building a solid bridge between lawmakers and their implementers with scientific theories, and encouraging them to scientific publishing.
For these reasons, the founders of this protocol decided to establish an international scientific journal (The Journal of Doctrine, Judiciary, and Legislation) according to the international standards that fit Egypt's position and maximize its role in the scientific community.
