Abstract

Abstract:

This study Brief deals to the application for one of the amicable methods of the international disputes settlement, it is special committee method, i mean United Nations Special Committee on Palestine (UNSCOP). This study aims Highlighting the most important legal aspects of this committee, since its establishment and formation until finalizing its functions with an explanation of the main shortcomings and transgressions issued, and it had catastrophic effects and consequences for the Palestinian people, and on its sovereignty over its land, and a great victory for Israel.

The study also sought to highlight and explanation the most important grounds that Israel adhereds to justify the legality of its sovereignty over Palestine, that constitutes a violation of the provisions and rules of public international law, the same is the resolution of violations and transgressions involved in United Nation committee Assembly No (181) of 1947 dividing Palestine, in addition to embark upon the role of some superpowers in dealing with the Palestinian file case, such as the United States of America, and Britain, regarding UNSCOP Commission, or concerning the circulating and enforcement of the Palestine dividing resolution.
